Printer Driver: an Overview 1 The printer driver is software that enables the printer to communicate with your computer. You can use the printer as the default printer in any Windows application that supports printing. The printer driver includes features that enable you to define the results of your printed output (documents or images), such as: ❏ Custom paper sizes ❏ Graphic image as an overlay on documents (for example, to print your company logo on each page) ❏ Multiple pages (up to nine) printed on one sheet of paper ❏ User-defined print profiles for storing and using print preferences. Printer Driver: an Overview

The printer driver is software that enables the printer to communicate
with your computer. You can use the printer as the default printer in any
Windows application that supports printing.
The printer driver includes features that enable you to define the results
of your printed output (documents or images), such as:
