Separately Sold Accessories The following camera accessories are sold separately. Some accessories are not sold in some regions, or may no longer be available. Power Supplies Battery Charger CB-2LA/2LAE z A charger for charging Battery Pack NB- 8L. Battery Pack NB-8L z Rechargeable lithium-ion battery. AC Adapter Kit ACK-DC60 z This kit lets you power the camera using household power. Recommended for powering the camera for an extended period of time or when connecting to a computer or printer. Cannot be used to charge the camera battery. Using Accessories Abroad The battery charger and the AC adapter kit can be used in regions that have 100 - 240 V (50/60 Hz) AC power. If the plug does not fit the outlet, use a commercially available plug adapter. Do not use electrical transformers for foreign travel as they will cause damage. CAUTION RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO LOCAL REGULATION. Flash High-Power Flash HF-DC1 z This externally mounted flash can be used to capture photographic subjects that are too distant for the built-in flash to illuminate. 39
