Printer Settings Setting RP10 Configuration To use the printer, you must specify the COM port, driver, and paper that you want to use with RP10 Configuration. A Click the Start button, and then click [All Programs]. B Click [CANON RP10], and [RP10 Configuration]. RP10 Configuration starts. IMPORTANT • Be sure to Log On as the Administrator. • The procedure in Windows 8.1/10 is different from the ones described in this manual. Refer to the Windows 8.1/10 "Help and Support Center" to select [Run]. [COM Port] Select the COM port that you want to use. [Paper Type] Select the type of paper that you want to use. [Use OPOS driver] Check this setting if you want to use the OPOS driver. If checked, you cannot print from the printer driver. [Enable Logging] Check this setting if you want to save the log of the OPOS driver. The log will be saved in the following location. C:\ProgramData\Canon Electronics\POS Printer\log\ C Click [OK] to close the RP10 Configuration. 17

Printer Settings
To use the printer, you must specify the COM port, driver, and paper
that you want to use with RP10 Configuration.
A
Click the Start button, and then click [All Programs].
IMPORTANT
Be sure to Log On as the Administrator.
The procedure in Windows 8.1/10 is different from the ones described in
this manual. Refer to the Windows 8.1/10 “Help and Support Center” to
select [Run].

Click [CANON RP10], and [RP10 Configuration].
RP10 Configuration starts.
[COM Port]
Select the COM port that you want to use.
[Paper Type]
Select the type of paper that you want to use.
[Use OPOS driver]
Check this setting if you want to use the OPOS driver. If checked, you
cannot print from the printer driver.
[Enable Logging]
Check this setting if you want to save the log of the OPOS driver.
The log will be saved in the following location.
C:\ProgramData\Canon Electronics\POS Printer\log\

Click [OK] to close the RP10 Configuration.
