94 Printing Connecting a Printer You can make clear prints swiftly and easily when you connect the camera to a direct print function compatible printer. You can also print using DPOF print settings. • You are recommended to use a household power source rather than the battery pack to power the camera when it is connected to a printer. If you do use a battery pack, ensure that it is fully charged and monitor the battery charge while printing. • Please see the System Map supplied with your camera for the list of direct print function compatible printers. • Please see your printer's user guide for information about installing paper and ink cassettes / tanks. Connecting to a Direct Print Function Compatible Printer Your printer should come equipped with two direct interface cables. To connect to this camera, please use the cable (DIF-200) that has the symbol on its connector. ▲ Shut the camera's power off (p. 26). To an Electrical Outlet • Attach the power cable to the printer and insert its plug into an electrical outlet. • You can also power the printer with a rechargeable battery if it is so equipped. Connecting a Printer
You can make clear prints swiftly and easily when you connect the
camera to a direct print function compatible printer. You can also print
using DPOF print settings.
You are recommended to use a household power source
rather than the battery pack to power the camera when it
is connected to a printer. If you do use a battery pack,
ensure that it is fully charged and monitor the battery
charge while printing.
