Specifying a Static IP Address for the Device If a static IP address needs to be specified for the device, such as when using it as a wireless base station (access point), or on a network that does not include a DHCP server, perform the following procedure. 1 Connect this device to another device with one-to-one connection. For details, see "Connecting to Another Device with One-to-One Connection" (p. 21). 2 Start the web browser, and access the "http://192.168.0.10/" URL. The device's web page opens, and the login screen is displayed. 3 Specify the IP address for the device in the [Network Setting] screen of the web menu. For details, see "Using the Web Menu" (p. 37). Device Setting to Specify a Static IP Address Configure the settings as follows. 1 Hold the Wireless On/Off button for five seconds. Operation switches to wired LAN mode, and the Wireless lamp turns off. 2 Hold the Wireless On/Off button and the WPS/Reset button for five seconds. The device's DHCP setting will be disabled, and the Connection lamp lights orange.
