Network Management UPnP 9 UPnP UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is a feature that allows for automatic discovery of devices that can communicate with this security appliance. The UPnP Portmap Table displays the IP addresses and other settings of the UPnP devices that have accessed the security appliance. STEP 1 Click Network Management > UPnP. The UPnP window opens. STEP 2 Enter the following information: • Do you want to enable UPnP?: Check this box to enable UPnP support and uncheck to disable it. If disabled, the router will not allow for automatic device configuration. • Advertisement Period: This is the period (in seconds) of how often this router will broadcast its UPnP information to all devices within range. • Advertisement Time to Live: This is expressed in hops for each UPnP packet. This is the number of steps a packet is allowed to propagate before being discarded. Small values will limit the UPnP broadcast range. STEP 3 Click Apply to save your settings. UPnP
UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is a feature that allows for automatic discovery of
devices that can communicate with this security appliance.
The UPnP Portmap Table displays the IP addresses and other settings of the UPnP
devices that have accessed the security appliance.
STEP 1
Click
Network Management
> UPnP.
The UPnP window opens.
STEP 2
Enter the following information:
