Radar Menu GPS Filter Toggles GPS off and on. GPS Filtering enables you to store and lock out, or ignore, fixed location false alerts in Road Scout's memory. 4 In the iRadar app, go to Wi-Fi Settings > Connect to Wi-Fi > enter your car's hotspot password and press JOIN. After successfully connecting to Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi icon will change to white. Troubleshooting Road Scout does not seem to detect radar consistently at long ranges If you are using AUTO sensitivity mode, be aware that AUTO mode changes Road Scout's X and K radar detection range based on your speed.
