By adding multiple controllers to your system you have more devices to manage. Increases disk capacity by using up to 14 drives per controller. Purchasing multiple controllers adds to the overall cost of your system. Increases cumulative transfer rate because multiple controllers added to your system mean more data can be transferred. Doubles the amount of cache on the disk controller. 26
