It is both a removable key and push button. WARNING The push start safety key is a safety device. Never attempt to bypass its operations. B. BLADE CONTROL The blade control is attached to the upper handle of the mower. Depress and squeeze it against the upper handle to operate the mower. Release it to stop motor and blade. E. CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT LEVERS The rear height adjustment lever is located on the left rear wheel. The front height adjustment lever is located on the left front wheel. Both levers must be at the same relative position to ensure a uniform cut. To adjust the cutting height, refer to to Cutting Height on page 13. F. MULCH PLUG The mulch plug is used to cut clippings multiple times while recirculating them back into the lawn. G. GRASS CATCHER The grass catcher, located at the rear of the mower, is used to collect the grass clippings for disposal. Refer to Grass Catcher on page 12 to install the grass catcher. See Figure 12 inset. The indicator shows the charge level of the battery when the motor is on. When all indicator lights are lit the battery is at full charge. As the battery is discharging, the indicator lights will move toward the left. D. HANDLE ADJUSTMENT LEVERS The handle adjustment levers are used to adjust the handle to one of three handle heights. Refer to Handle Assembly on page 11. H. SIDE DISCHARGE CHUTE The side discharge chute is typically used to cut high grass that can not be mulched effectively. Refer to Side Discharge Chute/ Mulch Plug on page 12 to attach the side discharge chute. I. BATTERY (IF EQUIPPED) The batteries are used to power the mower. Controls and Features
A. PUSH START SAFETY KEY
The push start safety key is strapped to the upper handle. It is
both a removable key and push button.
WARNING
The push start safety key is a safety device. Never
attempt to bypass its operations.
B. BLADE CONTROL
The blade control is attached to the upper handle of the mower.
Depress and squeeze it against the upper handle to operate the
mower. Release it to stop motor and blade.

C. BATTERY LEVEL INDICATOR (HANDLE PANEL)
The battery level indicator is located on the handle panel. See
Figure 12 inset. The indicator shows the charge level of the
battery when the motor is on. When all indicator lights are lit
the battery is at full charge. As the battery is discharging, the
indicator lights will move toward the left.
