Rear Deck Rollers, Parking Brake Adjustment

Rear Deck Rollers The rear deck rollers can be placed in two positions. To change the height of the rear deck rollers Refer to Figure 6-9 and proceed as follows: Upper Hex Screw Lower Hex Screw Upper Flange Lock Nut Figure 6-9 1. Loosen - but do not remove - the lower hex screws and lower flange lock nuts on all three brackets securing the rollers to the deck. NOTE: The brackets are slotted on the lower half of the bracket to allow the deck rollers to be moved up and down. 2. Remove the upper hex screws and upper flange lock nuts from the brackets and the deck. NOTE: In the highest position the upper hex screws and flange lock nuts are in the hole directly above the slots, in the lowest position the upper hex screws and flange lock nuts are in the uppermost hole. 3. Move the brackets into the desired position and re-install, but do not tighten the upper hex screws and flange lock nuts through brackets and the deck. 4. Tighten the lower hex screws and flange lock nuts and then tighten the lower hex screws and flange lock nuts. Parking Brake Adjustment If the tractor does not come to a complete stop when the brake lever is completely engaged, or if the tractor's rear wheels can roll with the parking brake applied (and the hydrostatic relief valve open), the brake is in need of adjustment. Rear Deck Rollers
The rear deck rollers can be placed in two positions. To change
the height of the rear deck rollers Refer to Figure 6-9 and
proceed as follows:
Lower Hex
Screw
Upper Hex Screw
Upper Flange Lock Nut

Loosen — but do not remove — the lower hex screws and
lower flange lock nuts on all three brackets securing the
rollers to the deck.
NOTE:
The brackets are slotted on the lower half of the
bracket to allow the deck rollers to be moved up and down.

Remove the upper hex screws and upper flange lock nuts
from the brackets and the deck.
NOTE:

but do not tighten the upper hex screws and flange lock
nuts through brackets and the deck.
4.
Tighten the lower hex screws and flange lock nuts and then
tighten the lower hex screws and flange lock nuts.
Parking Brake Adjustment
If the tractor does not come to a complete stop when the brake

roll with the parking brake applied (and the hydrostatic relief
