DGS-1520 Series Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Switch Hardware Installation Guide PoE Ports (DGS-1520-28MP/52MP Only) MGMT Port (DGS-1520-28/52 Only) Port Type Specifications All SFP+ port are backwards compatible to support SFP transceivers. For the full list of D-Link transceivers that are supported on the Switch, refer to the Supported SFP/SFP+ Transceivers table on page 33. The PoE ports on the front panels of the Switch can supply PDs with DC power over the Ethernet cables connecting them. Standards IEEE 802.3af (Power over Ethernet, 15.4 Watt) IEEE 802.3at (Power over Ethernet, 30 Watt) The following features are supported on the PoE ports: • Automatically recognizes the PD connection and immediately provides power using the Auto-Discovery feature • Automatically disables only the port(s) with a current over 350/600 mA for IEEE 802.3af/at with a minimum voltage output of 44/50 V • Automatically disables only the port(s) with a short using the Active Circuit Protection feature • Priority configurable between Low, Medium, and High.
