Installation Instructions Connecting the Water Line This line connects water for the ice maker and water dispenser. The water line is located on the back, bottom right of the refrigerator. Make sure all water line parts and tools are nearby before beginning this next step. 1. Determine the total length of copper tubing needed. • Make sure to allow at least 7 ft. (213 cm) of slack for the refrigerator to be pulled away from the wall for servicing behind the unit. 2. Remove the plastic cap that is covering the water inlet. 3. Insert the copper tubing through the compression nut and compression sleeve. • Do not use silicone sleeve tubing: it will slice and leak water. • Do not use an old sleeve: it might rupture. 4. Insert the copper tubing + compression sleeve inside the water inlet. 5. Slide the compression nut down to the water inlet. 6. Tighten the compression nut. Do not overtighten. plastic cap water inlet Refrigerator's Line-in copper tubing compression nut compression sleeve Refrigerator's Water Line Connection 13
