Troubleshooting Problem and Solution Guide NORMAL OCCURRENCES Temperature in Refrigerator or Freezer is High Refer to the table below to find possible solutions to some problems you may experience with your refrigerator. Incident Solution Refrigerator temperature is adjusted to a very high value. Doors are opened frequently or left ajar for extended periods of time. The refrigerator compartment temeprature setting has an effect on the temperature of the freezer. Change the temperatures of the refrigerator or freezer and wait until the relevant compartments attain a sufficient temperature. Do not open the doors frequently. Door is ajar. The refrigerator has recently been plugged in or loaded with food. Close the door completely. This is normal. When the refrigerator is recently plugged in or loaded with food, it will take longer for the refrigerator to attain the set temperature. Large amounts of hot food This is the sound of a refrigerator that is not leveled correctly and it is touching-vibrating- against a wooden surface or floor. Vibrations or Noise Floor is not level or stable. If the refrigerator rocks, adjust the feet to balance the unit. Make sure that the floor is strong enough to hold the refrigerator. Items put onto the refrigerator may cause noise Remove items from the refrigerator's top. Noises from the Refrigerator - Liquid Flowing, Spraying, Etc. Liquid and gas flows occur in accordance with the operating principles of the refrigerator. Refrigerator Whistles Fans are used to cool the refrigerator. This is normal operation.
