General Problems Fax Problems Make sure an active telephone line is connected to the fax connector ( -left side connector) on the back of your printer. Make sure that if you are using a DSL or ISDN line, you are using a digital line filter on the telephone line connecting your wall jack to the wall. Make sure the fax number, country code, and date/time are set correctly. Make sure the telephone line is not in use by another device such as a dial-up modem internet service.
