Securing the printer 88 Erasing volatile memory The volatile memory (RAM) installed in your printer requires a power source to retain information. To erase the buffered data, simply turn off the printer. Erasing non‑volatile memory 1 Turn off the printer. 2 From the printer control panel, hold down and the right arrow button while turning the printer on. Release the buttons only when the Configuration menu appears. 3 Press the arrow buttons until Wipe All Settings appears, and then press . The printer will restart several times during this process. data, simply turn off the printer.

The printer will restart several times during this process.
