Full core dumps RP core dumps are enabled by default. CP core dumps are disabled by default. The core dump file is sent by FTP to the internal flash in the CORE_DUMP_DIR directory once the crashed RPM is back up. Enable full RPM application and kernel core dumps with the following: Task Enable RPM core dumps and specify the shutdown mode. A mini core dump contains critical information in the case that a full core dump is not successful, as shown in the example below. After RPM reset, the mini core FTP-to-RPM flash process takes about 5 seconds. New files are written in flash until space is exhausted, in which case the write is aborted. Mini RPM core dump files are located in the CORE_DUMP_DIR directory with the name f10cp.kcore.mini.txt (for the kernel) and f10cp.acore.mini.txt (for the application).
