b base cover c battery 3 To remove the coin cell battery: a Disconnect the battery cable from its connector on the system board [1]. b Lift up the plastic shields that secure the cable to the system and release the cable [2]. c Lift and remove the coin cell from the system [3]. NOTE: A strong adhesive is used on the coin battery; a bit of force is needed to peel up the battery from the palmrest.
