Insert the system board at an angle for the system board connectors to fit into the port openings of the computer chassis. Gently lower the system board into the computer chassis and ensure not to cover the flexible cables such as the fingerprint reader cable, touchpad cable, keyboard cable, and keyboard-backlit cable near the cable routing. 2. Align the screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 3. Replace the five screws (M2x2) that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 4. Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the left type-c bracket to the system board. 5. Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the right type-c bracket to the system board. 6. For 2-in-1 configurations, connect the power-button cable to the connector on the system board. 7. Connect the fingerprint cable to the connector on the system board. 8. Connect the speaker cable to the system board. 9. Adhere the tapes that secure the antenna cables to the system board and also adhere the black adhesive tape to the M.2 solid-state drive slot to the system board. 10. Connect the touchpad cable to the connector on the system board. 11. Connect the keyboard cable to the connector on the system board. 12. Connect the keyboard-backlight cable to the connector on the system board. 13. For 2-in-1 configurations, connect the volume-control cable to the connector on the system board. Next steps 1. Replace the five screws (M2x2) that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4.
Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the left type-c bracket to the system board.

Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the right type-c bracket to the system board.
6.
For 2-in-1 configurations, connect the power-button cable to the connector on the system board.
7.
Connect the fingerprint cable to the connector on the system board.
8.
Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
9.
Adhere the tapes that secure the antenna cables to the system board and also adhere the black adhesive tape to the M.2
solid-state drive slot to the system board.
10.
Connect the touchpad cable to the connector on the system board.
11.
Connect the keyboard cable to the connector on the system board.
12.
Connect the keyboard-backlight cable to the connector on the system board.
13.
For 2-in-1 configurations, connect the volume-control cable to the connector on the system board.
