Your computer supports a Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN/UWB) card. If you ordered a WPAN/UWB card with your computer, the card is already installed. Removing a WPAN/UWB Card 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer. 2. Close the display and turn the computer over. 3. Remove the bottom of the base assembly (see Removing the Bottom of the Base Assembly). 4. Remove the left hinge cover (see Removing the Hinge Covers). 5. Disconnect the blue antenna cable from the WPAN/UWB card. 6. Remove the M2 x 3-mm screw from the WPAN/UWB card. The card will pop up to a 30-degree angle to the system board. 1 WPAN/UWB card 3 antenna cable 2 M2 x 3-mm screw 7. Slide the WPAN/UWB card out of its connector.

Replacing a WPAN/UWB Card
Your computer supports a Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN/UWB) card. If you ordered a WPAN/UWB card with your computer, the card is already
installed.
Removing a WPAN/UWB Card
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working on Your Computer
.
2.
Close the display and turn the computer over.
3.
Remove the bottom of the base assembly (see
Removing the Bottom of the Base Assembly
).
4.
Remove the left hinge cover (see
Removing the Hinge Covers
).
5.
Disconnect the blue antenna cable from the WPAN/UWB card.
6.
Remove the M2 x 3-mm screw from the WPAN/UWB card. The card will pop up to a 30-degree angle to the system board.
7.
Slide the WPAN/UWB card out of its connector.
