In the console tree, right-click Users, and select New > User from the shortcut menu. The New Object - User dialog box appears. 4. In the New Object - User dialog box, perform the following: a. Specify the First name, Last name, and User logon name. For the logon name, use something that refers to virus checking, for example, virususer. NOTE: You can give the domain user any name that you want, although it should have a context-appropriate name. The name virususer is used as an example in this guide. b. Click Next. The Password dialog box appears. 5. In the Password dialog box, perform the following: a. Type a password and confirm the password in the appropriate fields. b. Select Password never expires. c. Create a domain user account
You must create a domain user account on the Windows domain controller. The EMC CAVA service is running in the context of
this user.
Use one of the following sections to create the domain user account:

Steps
1.
Log in to a Windows Server as the Domain Administrator.
2.
From the Windows taskbar, click
Start
and select
Settings
>
Control Panel
>
Administrative Tools
>
Active Directory
Users and Computers
.
3.
In the console tree, right-click
Users
, and select
New
>
User
from the shortcut menu. The
New Object - User
dialog box
appears.
4.
In the
New Object - User
dialog box, perform the following:
