It also implements these Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) documents: • RFC 2474, Definition of the Differentiated Services Field (DS Field) in the IPv4 Headers • RFC 2475, An Architecture for Differentiated Services • RFC 2597, Assured Forwarding PHB Group • RFC 2598, An Expedited Forwarding PHB You cannot configure port-based and policy-based QoS on the same interface. Port-Based QoS Configurations You can configure the following QoS features on an interface. NOTE: You cannot simultaneously use egress rate shaping and ingress rate policing on the same virtual local area network (VLAN). • Setting dot1p Priorities for Incoming Traffic • Honoring dot1p Priorities on Ingress Traffic • Configuring Port-Based Rate Policing • Configuring Port-Based Rate Shaping Setting dot1p Priorities for Incoming Traffic Dell Networking OS places traffic marked with a priority in a queue based on the following table. If you set a dot1p priority for a port-channel, all port-channel members are configured with the same value. You cannot assign a dot1p value to an individual interface in a port-channel.
