Power button module Removing power button module 1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer. 2. Remove the: a. Cover b. Front bezel c. IO panel 3. Open the PSU hinge. 4. Disconnect the power button module cable from the connector on the system board [1]. 5. Remove the button module cable from the routing guides next to the system board on the chassis [2,3]. 6. Remove the adhesive tape that secures the power button module to the chassis [1]. 7. Press the notches to release the power button module and pull the power button module to remove it from the system [2,3]. 64 Disassembly and reassembly
