Dell recommends asymmetrical flow control (rx on tx off) on S4048-ON leaf switches which have sufficient egress buffers to reduce packet drops and resulting retransmissions. This feature should be applied on all host interfaces that support flow control. In OS10EE this is enabled by default, in OS9 it must be configured.
