CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the hard drive while the computer is in sleep or on state. Prerequisites Remove the right-side cover. Procedure 1. Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard-drive. 2. Press the release tabs on the hard-drive carrier and slide the hard-drive carrier out of the hard-drive cage. Figure 13. 1.
