Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 2 in "Removing the power-supply unit". 3. Remove the processor fan and heat-sink assembly. 4. Remove the blower and heat-sink assembly. (if installed) Procedure 1. Press the processor release-lever down and then pull it outwards to release it from the securing tab. 2. Extend the processor release-lever completely to open the processor cover. 3. Gently lift the processor and remove it from the processor socket. 72 Removing the processor

Prerequisites
1.
Remove the
right-side cover
.
2.
Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 2 in “
Removing the power-supply unit
”.
3.
Remove the
processor fan and heat-sink assembly
.
4.
Remove the
blower and heat-sink assembly
. (if installed)
Procedure
1.
Press the processor release-lever down and then pull it outwards to release it from the securing tab.
2.
Extend the processor release-lever completely to open the processor cover.
3.
Gently lift the processor and remove it from the processor socket.
