16 ExpressCard Reader CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, follow the safety instructions in the Product Information Guide. NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching a connector on the back panel of the computer. 1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9. 2 Remove any installed ExpressCards from the ExpressCard slot. 3 Remove the display assembly (see "Display Assembly" on page 37). 4 Remove the palm rest (see "Palm Rest" on page 49). 5 Remove the four screws that secure the Express Card reader to the computer base. 1 2 1 M2 x 3-mm screws (4) 2 Express Card reader ExpressCard Reader 59

computer base.
