Removing the Processor Heat-Sink Fan

Prerequisites

Remove the back cover. See "Removing the Back Cover" on page 19.

Remove the system-board shield. See "Removing the System-Board Shield" on
page 31.
Procedure
1
Disconnect the processor heat-sink fan cable from the system board.
2
Remove the screws that secure the processor heat-sink fan to the computer base.
3
Lift the processor heat-sink fan off the computer base.
