ENGLISH NOTES: • When you adjust the channel levels while in the TEST TONE mode, the channel level adjustments made will affect all surround modes. Consider this mode a Master Channel Level adjustment mode. • You can adjust the channel levels for each of the following surround modes: DIRECT, STEREO, DOLBY/DTS SURROUND, 5/6 CH STEREO, MONO MOVIE, ROCK ARENA, JAZZ CLUB, VIDEO GAME, MATRIX and VIRTUAL. Setting the Digital In Assignment • This setting assigns the digital input jacks of the AVR-1804/884 for the different input sources. 1 Select the digital input jack to be assigned to the input source. • To select the digital input jack 16 COAX CD 2 • To select the input source Select "OFF" if nothing is connected. 3 Press the ENTER or (down) button to enter the setting and switch the Component Video input setting. NOTE: • PHONO, TUNER and V. AUX cannot be selected. Setting the Video In Assignment • This setting assigns the color difference (component) video input jacks of the AVR-1804/884 for the different input sources. 1 Select the component (Y, PB/CB and PR/CR) video input terminal to be assigned to the input source. • Component video terminal selection 20 VIDEO1 DVD 2 • Input source selection Select "OFF" if nothing is connected. 3 Press the ENTER or (down) button to enter the setting and switch the Auto Surround Mode setting. 26
