English Troubleshooting Guide MANY COMMON PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED EASILY BY UTILIZING THE CHART BELOW. FOR MORE SERIOUS OR PERSISTENT PROBLEMS, CONTACT A DeWALT SERVICE CENTER OR CALL 1-(800)-4-DeWALT. WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack before making any adjustments or removing/installing attachments or accessories. An accidental start-up can cause injury. Symptom Tool doesn't turn on (Headlights don't turn on) Cause Tool internal electronics not reset Low battery charge or damaged battery Fix Remove battery, wait 3 seconds and reinsert Charge or replace battery Terminals are dirty or damaged Bent contact trip Damaged internal electronics See authorized service center See authorized service center See authorized service center Tool doesn't actuate (Headlights on, motor does not run) Motor stops running after 4 seconds Contact trip or trigger not depressed Damaged trigger Bent contact trip Damaged internal electronics Tool in sequential mode and only trigger being actuated.
