1. Plug the Wi‐Fi extender into a power outlet close to the root wireless access point and switch it on (1). The extender will automatically initialize. In a few seconds, the Power LED ( ) will light up. Approximately 30 seconds afterwards, the Wi‐Fi LED ( ) will begin to flash rapidly and irregularly (2). This indicates initialization is complete. Please do not proceed to step 2 until these conditions are fulfilled. (2) (1) 2. Press and hold the WPS button on the extender for 2 seconds, until the WPS LED ( ) starts flashing. 3. Press the WPS button on the root wireless access point within 2 minutes to establish a connection.
