Customizing the Dakota Route Setup Touch Setup > Routing. Guidance Method-select a guidance method for calculating your route • Off Road-calculates point-topoint routes. • On Road For Time-calculates on-road routes that require minimal time to drive. • On Road For Distance- calculates on-road routes that are shorter in distance. Calculate Routes for-select a transportation method for which to optimize your routes. Lock On Road-lock the current location marker on the nearest road, compensating for variances in map position accuracy (requires routable maps). Off Road Transitions-select a transition method for routing off roads. • Auto-automatically routes you to the next point. • Manual-allows you to select the next point on the route by touching the point on the active route page. • Distance-routes you to the next point on the route when you are within a specified distance of your current point.
