10 Press to release the locking tab on each rail, then slide the server into the rack. Warning When sliding the server into or out of the rack, do not force it. If the server does not slide smoothly, make sure that: ■ Both rails are mounted in the rack exactly horizontally, so that one end is not higher than the other. ■ The rails mounted on the sides of the server are correctly mounted onto the T-shaped bushings on the server. ■ The rails are parallel. ■ The rails are extended to the same length before mounting the server onto the rails. ■ You press both locking tabs before sliding the server into the cabinet. 8 www.gateway.com

Warning
When sliding the server into or out of the rack, do not force
it. If the server does not slide smoothly, make sure that:
Both rails are mounted in the rack exactly horizontally,
