6-2 Configuring Audio Input and Output 6-2-1 Configuring 2/5.1-Channel Audio The motherboard supports 2/5.1-channel audio. Refer to the following for speaker configurations. •• 2-channel audio: Headphone or Line out. •• 5.1-channel audio: Front speaker out, Rear speaker out, and Center/Subwoofer speaker out. Line In/Mic In Front Speaker Out Center/Subwoofer Speaker Out Rear Speaker Out Headphone/ Speaker Out 6-2-2 Creative Software Suite After installing the audio driver, you can find the Creative Software Suite in Apps>Creative. The Creative Software Suite includes Creative Alchemy and Sound Blaster Recon3Di. Creative Alchemy Through the Creative Alchemy, you can enable EAX effects for your games to obtain the most realistic gaming experience. Steps: Go to Apps>Creative to launch Creative Alchemy. On the left panel, select the game for which you want to enable the EAX effects and add it to the right panel. You will see the EAX effects are enabled when the game is launched. Appendix - 112 -

Creative Software Suite
Creative Alchemy
Through the Creative Alchemy, you can enable EAX effects for your games to obtain the most realistic gaming
experience.
Steps:
Go to Apps>Creative to launch Creative Alchemy. On the
left panel, select the game for which you want to enable
the EAX effects and add it to the right panel. You will see
the EAX effects are enabled when the game is launched.
