Setting Up Service ⅷ If you received your device in the mail and you are activating a new device for an existing number on your account, you will need to go online to activate your new device. Ⅲ From your computer's Web browser, go to www.sprint.com/activate and complete the onscreen instructions to activate your device. When you have finished, make a phone call to confirm your activation. If your device is still not activated or you do not have access to the Internet, contact Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4727 for assistance. Tip: Do not press while the phone is being activated. Pressing cancels the activation process. Note: If you are having difficulty with activation, contact Sprint Customer Service by dialing 1-888-211-4727 from any other phone. Setting Up Your Voicemail Your device automatically transfers all unanswered calls to your voicemail, even if your device is in use or turned off. You should set up your Sprint Voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your device is activated. Always use a password to protect against unauthorized access. 1. Press and tap application. to open the Phone 2. Tap to connect to Sprint voicemail. 3. Follow the system prompts to: Ⅲ Create your password. Ⅲ Record your name announcement. Ⅲ Record your greeting. Note: Voicemail Password Sprint strongly recommends that you create a password when setting up your voicemail to protect against unauthorized access. Without a password, anyone who has access to your device is able to access your voicemail messages. 1A. Setting Up Service 5
