PLAYING MUSIC FROM WI-FI Chromecast built-in Chromecast built-in works very similarly to Spotify Connect, except it is supported by a large and growing number of music apps and services. If the music app you are using supports Chromecast built-in, you will see the Cast button in that app. Step 1. Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as the device with the app with Chromecast built-in support. Step 2. Open the app and begin to play a song. Step 3. Tap the Cast icon. Step 4. Select your Omni speaker. The speakers will pull the music directly from the Internet and begin playback. Continue to use your favorite music apps to play and control music and other audio content.
