Power connector cable Description Power connector cable Spare part number 538085-001 ✎ The power connector cable is also available in the Cable Kit, spare part number 516328-001. Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see "Battery" on page 4-6). 5. Remove the following components: a. Optical drive (see "Optical drive" on page 4-7) b. Hard drive (see "Hard drive" on page 4-11) c. TV tuner module (see "TV tuner module" on page 4-18) d. Switch cover and keyboard (see "Switch cover and keyboard" on page 4-19) e. Speaker assembly (see "Speaker assembly" on page 4-23) f. Display assembly (see "Display assembly" on page 4-25) g. Top cover (see "Top cover" on page 4-34) h. System board (see "System board" on page 4-37) i. USB board (see "USB board" on page 4-41) Remove the power connector cable: 1. Remove the Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screw 1 that secures the power connector and bracket 2 to the base enclosure. Reverse this procedure to install the modem module cable.
Power connector cable
The power connector cable is also available in the Cable Kit, spare part number 516328-001.
Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on,
