Hood sensor The hood sensor is located near the front of the computer. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 15). 2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 16). 3. Lift the rubber cover from the hood sensor (1). 4. Disconnect the cable from the system board, and then lift the hood sensor out of the computer (2).
