Pull the cable out of the connector, Peel the tape off the connector on the back of the display panel

a. Remove the four Phillips M 2.0 × 2.5 screws (1) from the display side panel brackets. b. Lift the top panel and rotate it onto the keyboard (2). NOTE: In this procedure, the display assembly will not be connected to the computer. c. Peel the tape off the connector on the back of the display panel (1). d.
