Scratches Check for the Scratches. 1. Print a high coverage job on a thick substrate and monitor for scratches. 2. Use the Scratches Mapping tool if required. Go to Print Care > Diagnostics and Troubleshooting > Scratches Mapping. Stacking quality Check the substrate stacking quality 1. Ask the operator about the usual stacking quality for different types of paper. 2. If stacking quality adjustments are required, see Appendix - Stacking quality troubleshooting guide. PQ Check for the PQ defects. 1. Perform Image Scaling Calibration (See CA493-01310 - Writing Head Installation and Calibration). 2. Run the CPR calibration wizard. 3. Run the Advanced Color Calibration wizard. 4. Print CATP job, gray 20, banding and a customer job. 5. Check the PQ for defects / scratches / banding and adjust the WH as necessary. (See CA493-01310 - Writing Head Installation and Calibration) 6. You may use the Print Quality Assist tool for more information about PQ defects and Troubleshooting.
