This release adds the following new features, enhancements, and defect fixes to the Windows Integrity solution: • Provides support for Windows Server 2008 R2. The HP Integrity Superdome sx2000 platform can support up to 256 logical processors (64 sockets, 128 cores, 256 threads) • Support for EFI-based Setup Utility (EBSU) 6.5 • Support for Smart Setup Scripting Toolkit (SSTK) 3.5. • Enhancements to manageability software including: - Improved System Management Homepage (SMH) performance on systems with large configurations - Improved user interface on the SMH Event Logs page, showing the advisory for each event displayed - Providing more information on many SMH pages, including the System Report page, System Summary page, and Automatic Server Recovery page NOTE: The HP Insight Management Agents are not supported in this release. If the HP Insight Management Agents are required, use Windows Solution Release 6.2 or earlier. • Various documentation updates. • Various defect fixes. NOTE: This release does not support Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (without SP2). Platforms running these versions of the operating system must remain on the Windows Solution 6.2 or earlier. NOTE: This release does not support the HP Integrity rx7620, rx8620, and Superdome sx1000 platforms. These platforms must remain on the Windows Solution 6.1 or earlier. System Configurations Windows Server 2008 R2 may be licensed for up to 256 logical processors. A physical processor can contain one or multiple cores, and each core can be multithreaded. What’s New in Windows Solution 6.5?
This release adds the following new features, enhancements, and defect fixes to the Windows
Integrity solution:
Provides support for Windows Server 2008 R2.
The HP Integrity Superdome sx2000 platform can support up to 256 logical processors (64
sockets, 128 cores, 256 threads)
Support for EFI-based Setup Utility (EBSU) 6.5
