26 Hewlett-Packard Jornada 430/430se Palm-size PC You can switch to the Volume & Sounds control panel by tapping the Speaker button. You can switch to the Power control panel by tapping the Battery button next to the battery status bar. Using the Memory tab To adjust how memory is allocated between storage and programs 1. Open HP settings and tap the Memory tab. 2. Switch to the System control panel by tapping the Windows button next to the memory status display, and then tap the Memory tab. 3. Move the slider to the left or right. 4. Tap OK to save the changes and exit, or tap the Close button (X in the upper right corner) to abandon the changes. Using the Drivers tab To change the number of colors displayed 1. Open HP settings and tap the Drivers tab. 2. Select a display mode (8- or 16-bit) from the Mode dropdown list. 3. To save the changes, tap OK. A dialog box asks you to perform a soft reset. Tap OK and then perform the soft reset (see the Soft reset section in chapter 11.) To abandon the changes, tap the Close button (X in the upper right corner).

tab.
2.

Tap
OK
to save the changes and exit, or tap the
Close

in the upper right corner) to abandon the
changes.
Using the Drivers tab

Drivers
tab.
2.
Select a display mode (8- or 16-bit) from the
Mode
dropdown list.
3.
To save the changes, tap

. A dialog box asks you to
