Installing the Windows Printer Software The installation program for the Windows printer software will install all the components needed for printing in a Windows environment. It will review your configuration and install a printer driver optimized for your computer's settings. Locate the disks titled HP LaserJet 5L Printing Software for Windows, and insert Disk 1 into drive A. 1 In the Windows Program Manager screen, pull down the File menu. 2 Select the Run command. 3 Type A:SETUP in the command line box and click OK on the screen or press [Enter] on your keyboard.
