) Note Configuration changes are assigned to a THINTUNE Thin Client while boot or reboot. ) Note To remotely manage THINTUNE Thin Clients which are located in a LAN there is no further configuration needed on the terminals. If your terminals are located in a remote site which is connected to the server via a router and/or a firewall you either need to manually enter the IP address of the THINTUNE OS Management Server into the terminal (Global Network Settings), or to set up an independent server for THINTUNE OS Management in each subnet ) Note If you will use THINTUNE Manager for remote administration please be notified that all new THINTUNE Thin Clients automatically will be assigned the configuration of the group which is defined as the default group in THINTUNE Manager. Therefore it makes sense to create a new group and exclude this group from automatic assignments ("unmanaged"). Make this your default group. 1.2 Installation Installation is very easy. Just start the installation procedure and follow the instructions of the installation manager. You should use Standard Installation. On completion of the installation process a new program group THINTUNE Manager is available in the Start Menue. Page 5
