Installing Windows 2000 Installing Retail Windows 2000 To install chipset support (Intel 830 series) If you have installed retail Windows you need to install the Intel chipset driver. The driver is contained in the chipset drivers directory. This will install support for IDE controllers, USB controllers, and several system devices. To install or upgrade the Intel chipset driver: 1. Run SETUP.EXE from the 830M driver directory. 2. Follow the onscreen directions to complete installation. Upon successful completion you will be asked to reboot your computer, choose "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" (even if you have other drivers to install at this time), then click Finish. To install video support (Intel 830 Series) If you have installed retail Windows you need to install the Intel video driver. The driver is contained in the VIDEO driver directory. To install or upgrade the Intel video driver: 1. Run SETUP.EXE from the video driver directory. 2. Follow the onscreen directions to complete installation. Upon successful completion you will be asked to reboot your computer, choose "Yes, I want to restart my computer now". To install audio support (Intel AC'97 series) If you have installed retail Windows you need to install the Intel audio driver. The driver is contained in the AUDIO directory. To install or upgrade the Intel audio driver: 1. Run SETUP.EXE from the audio driver directory. 2. Follow the onscreen directions to complete installation. Upon successful completion you will be asked to reboot your computer, choose "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" if you have no other drivers to install. To install chipset support (Intel 830 series)
If you have installed retail Windows you need to install the Intel chipset driver. The
driver is contained in the chipset drivers directory. This will install support for IDE

To install or upgrade the Intel chipset driver:
1.
Run SETUP.EXE from the 830M driver directory.
2.
Follow the onscreen directions to complete installation. Upon successful completion
