4. Remove the system board (2) by sliding it up and to the left at an angle. Reverse this procedure to install the system board. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 23), and then remove the following components: a. Battery (see Battery on page 25) b. Solid-state drive (see Battery on page 25) c. System board (see System board on page 35) Remove the heat sink: 1.
