Speakers, Release the display panel cable from the routing channel

Speakers Description Speakers (includes cables) Spare part number 856220-001 Before removing the speakers, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 24), and then remove the following components: a. Battery (see Battery on page 26) b. WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 29) c. Fan (see Fan on page 33) d. System board (see System board on page 34) Remove the speakers: 1. Release the display panel cable from the routing channel (1) built into the left speaker. 2. Release the wireless antenna cables from the routing channel (2) built into the right speaker. 3. Release the speaker cables from the routing clips (3) and channel built into the keyboard/top cover. 4. Remove the speakers (4). Component replacement procedures 39
