Hard Drive Cables and Connector Description Hard drive connector cable Spare part number 665725-001 The hard drive connector is secured with two screws and has two cables that connect to the system board. Figure 7-33 Hard drive cable location To remove the hard drive connector: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to Disassemble the Computer on page 33). 2. Remove the rear cover (see Rear Cover on page 34). 3. Remove the hard drive (see Hard Drive on page 47). 4. Remove the system board cover (see System Board Cover on page 49). 5.
