2 itemList The exact type of list varies, depending on the test and the parameter; however, the most common are blade ports and user ports. A list of blade ports is most commonly used by ASIC-level tests such as turboRamTest and represents which ports on the current blade (specified with --slot number) are tested. A list of user ports is used by higher-level tests to specify which user-accessible external ports within the current switch (selected during Telnet login) are tested. When specified in an item list, user ports might be specified by either the area portion of the ports Fibre Channel address or with slot/port notation. For non-blade systems, the port number on the silkscreen is the area number, so the two notations are identical. For item list parameters, the parameter type is PT_LIST and the list type is one of those shown in Table 20.
