For rewritable disks, automatic reallocation of defective sectors occurs during these additional erase operations: Erase 2CH and Erase ACH. AWRE cannot be disabled on Write-Once media. TB A Transfer Block bit of 1 indicates that a data block that is not recovered within the recovery limits specified is transferred to the initiator before CHECK CONDITION status is returned. A TB bit of 0 indicates that such a data block is not transferred to the initiator. RC A Read Continuous bit of 1 indicates that error correction codes are not used for data error recovery. A Read Continuous bit of 0 allows the use of error correction codes for data error recovery. 2-34 Chapter 2
