If You Have a Problem Manually Clearing CMOS and Passwords 1 Disconnect the power cord and remove the PC's cover. 2 Locate the system board switches (the blue block indicated below) 3 To clear CMOS move switch 5 to ON. To clear Password move switch 6 to ON. Clear Passwords switch Clear CMOS & Passwords switch 4 Replace the cover and reconnect the power cord. 5 Start the PC. This erases the previous CMOS or password configuration. A message is displayed saying that the configuration has been cleared. 6 Shut down the PC. Set the Clear CMOS & Passwords or Clear Passwords switch to OFF to re-enable configuration. 7 Replace the PC's cover and restart the PC. Manually Clearing CMOS and Passwords

Disconnect the power cord and remove the PC’s cover.

Locate the system board switches (the blue block indicated below)

To clear CMOS move switch 5 to ON. To clear Password move switch 6 to ON.

Replace the cover and reconnect the power cord.

Start the PC. This erases the previous CMOS or password configuration. A message is displayed saying
that the configuration has been cleared.

Shut down the PC. Set the Clear CMOS & Passwords or Clear Passwords switch to OFF to re-enable
